The members of the TC on Motion Control have published several books relevant to the areas of the TC.
Motion Control Systems 
Motion Control Systems is concerned with design methods that support the never-ending requirements for faster and more accurate control of mechanical motion. The book presents material that is fundamental, yet at the same time discusses the solution of complex problems in motion control systems. Methods presented in the book are based on the authors' original research results.
High-Speed Precision Motion Control 
High-Speed Precision Motion Control discusses high-precision and fast servo controls in hard disk drives (HDDs). The chapter authors describe the control technologies they’ve developed, most of which have already been successfully applied to mass production of HDDs.
Disturbance Observer-Based Control 
Due to its abilities to compensate disturbances and uncertainties, disturbance observer based control(DOBC)is regarded as one of the most promising approaches for disturbance-attenuation. One of the first books on DOBC, Disturbance Observer Based Control: Methods and Applications presents novel theory results as well as best practices for applications in motion and process control that have already benefited numerous organizations.
Motion Control of Functionally Related Systems 
This book is concerned with the development of design techniques for controlling motion of mechanical systems which are employed to execute certain tasks acting collaboratively. The book introduces unified control design procedure for functionally related systems.
